Ētera atkritumu opera "Melnais Caurums" ir 17. kanālu sfēriskās skaņas instalācija, kura bija izstādīta pilnībā aptumšotā telpā festivāla "Skaņu Mežs" organizētā skaņu mākslas izstādē "Skan", Cigoriņu fabrikā 2007. gadā. Tā ir veidota no reklāmas balsu atgriezumiem, kurus es ierakstīju tolaik strādājot reklāmas studijā. "Melnajā Caurumā" skan dekonstruēti TV reklāmu sižeti un balsis, kas formēja Latvijas patērētāju sabiedrības realitāti "treknajos gados", īsi pirms globālās finansu krīzes. Šeit publicēti stereo samiksēti 10 fragmenti no instalācijas audio materiāliem.

A black hole is a region of spacetime that has such strong gravity that the acceleration needed to get out of it is equal or higher than the speed of light.
The ethereal waste opera "The Black Hole" is a 17 channel spherical sound installation that was exhibited in a completely dark room at the Sound-Art Exhibition "Skan" organized by the "Skaņu Mežs" festival at the Chicory Factory of Riga in 2007. It is made up of audio fragments from ads voice-overs, that i recorded while working in the advertising studio. The Black Hole features deconstructed TV commercials and voices that shaped the reality of the Latvian consumer society in the so-called "fat years", a period of Latvian economic history before the global financial crisis. Here are ten stereo-mixed fragments of audio from the installation.
